Ecospec have been awarded the contract for the upgrade of the Black Point boat ramp in Yorke Peninsula, South Australia
The work entails the installation of new platforms and walkways to the Black Point Boat Ramp. These extend the mooring length and facilitate boat mooring at lower tide levels.
The design (by Aztec Engineers) incorporates alternative details and construction methods proposed by Ecospec to eliminate site welding and enhance the integrity of the protective coating systems and increase the service life of the coating system.
The platforms and walkways are located outside the width of the boat ramp to retain the full functional width of the existing boat ramp.
